A six week course for those wishing to complete their BHS Stage 1 this summer or for those wishing to find out that bit more about the horses they ride, loan or own.

There are two options either to include riding BHS Stage 1 Complete or Stage 1 Care Only. 

10.30-2pm WEDNESDAY Concurrent.

Learners do not need to be a member of the British Horse Society but must have some basic handling horse skills and if taking the riding option MUST be walk,trot and canter independent.

Learners can join this course without going forward to the official BHS Assessment * see note below.

All learners will gain an in-house Certficate of Attendance and Certiifcate of Ability for those fulfilling the set assessment criteria.

Learners must have a good comfortable stable boot for the course hats and gloves will be provided. Learners will need jodphurs, long boots PAS 015 (minimum) standard hat, sweat shirt or jacket for assessment.

*BHS Assessment is held at an Approved BHS Riding School. DTA. Cost for the BHS Final Assessment is determined at source.
